Anna Hutchison
Director
Anna is the Director of Hutchison Law and an experienced family lawyer, having worked in the family law sector for around 10 years. Having grown up and attended school in Paisley, she is proud to serve the local community with compassion, integrity, and professionalism. Anna is known for her down-to-earth approach and prides herself on being relatable and approachable to clients during what can be a stressful and emotional time. She is committed to providing clear, understandable practical advice and tries to avoid the legal jargon where possible! She is always focused on achieving the best outcomes for the families she works with.
Carmen Rowat
Solicitor
Carmen is a Family Law Solicitor at Hutchison Law. Carmen has a genuine passion for helping people through some of the most difficult periods of their lives. Carmen understands that family law cases are rarely straightforward and takes the time to understand not only the legal issues, but what is actually happening in a client’s life.
At Hutchison Law, Carmen is a perfect fit for the way we want to practise family law: no unnecessary stuffiness, no treating people like case numbers, and no losing sight of the person behind the paperwork. She is approachable, down to earth, and completely committed to the people she represents. She is very much the kind of solicitor you want in your corner.
Lisa Fox
Senior Legal Assistant
Lisa is the friendly face at the front of Hutchison Law and, more often than not, the first person our clients speak to when they get in touch with us.
With more than 25 years’ experience working in the legal profession, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. She has worked alongside Anna for over a decade, having worked together at a previous firm before Lisa joined her at Hutchison Law.
As our receptionist and legal secretary, Lisa keeps the office running smoothly while making sure every client who walks through our door — or picks up the phone — feels welcome and at ease.
After more than ten years working together, Anna knew exactly who she wanted front of house when building Hutchison Law – we simply wouldn’t be Hutchison Law without her.
Lee Nicholson
Lee — Legal Assistant & Diploma Student
Lee graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class law degree and is now completing the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice as she takes the next step towards qualifying as a solicitor.
Alongside her studies, Lee works with the Hutchison Law team two days a week, gaining hands-on experience of family law and putting into practice everything she has learned throughout her studies.
Since joining us, Lee has come on leaps and bounds. She has quickly become a valued member of the team, developing her practical skills, confidence and understanding of the realities of working with clients — the things that simply can’t be learned from a textbook.
At Hutchison Law, we believe strongly in giving the next generation of lawyers meaningful experience and the opportunity to learn what practising law is really like. Watching Lee develop throughout her time with us has been an absolute pleasure, and we are incredibly excited for her future at Hutchison Law!
